Kühtai: winter sports in the Stubai Alps

Skiing between the Nedertal and Sellraintal valleys

Kühtai in the Stubai Alps is one of the highest ski resorts in Austria. It is located between the Nedertal valley in the west of the federal state of Tyrol and Sellraintal valley in the east. Kühtai ski resort lies at an impressive altitude of 2,020 metres, which means that winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to consistently good snow conditions and a particularly long winter season.

The wide slopes and picturesque powder-snow slopes of the ski resort ensure tons of fun for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels.

By the way: From December on, night owls have the opportunity to go night skiing on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Starting points are the Hochalter lift and the Start lift. "Zum Kaiser Maximilian" mountain hut is halfway down the Hochalter run and open on both evenings.
