Our RENTertainers recommend
Night skiing on Hochwurzen: At Schladming-Planai ski resort, it’s (almost) as if there was no closing time for “marathon skiers”. On the three-kilometre-long night ski slope no. 33, night owls can enjoy the unique ambience of a floodlit and perfectly groomed run.
When, eventually, you do have to make that one last stop, you can visit several cosy huts along the slope. At the top station, you can warm up at Hochwurzen Hütte or Hochwurzenalm. Next to the lift station in the valley, Tauernalm offers a relaxed atmosphere for an evening snack or drinks with friends.
But always remember: Don't drink and ski!
