Engelberg-Titlis ski resort

Your snow paradise at Titlis glacier

About 2,000 metres in altitude separate the Swiss Titlis glacier from the Alpine village of Engelberg with its medieval monastery. In between the two lies Engelberg-Titlis ski resort, the largest winter sports destination of Central Switzerland.

50 per cent of slopes in the ski resort have guaranteed snow. Up on the glacier, the skiing season starts as early as October and usually lasts until May.

Always at your service: our team of RENTertainers, the most experienced winter sports experts you will find between Engelberg and the Titlis glacier.

Skiing in Engelberg-Titlis

More about the ski resort

Three ski resorts, 82 kilometres of slopes and 25 lifts and cable cars are waiting for you between 1,050 and 3,020 metres above sea level in Engelberg.

Thanks to its snow-sure glacier slopes, the Titlis region is popular with all types of winter sports athletes. If you’re looking for easier slopes, try the ones near Trübsee, Gerschnialp and Untertrübsee. Or how about cruising down the ski resort’s longest slope with a total length of twelve kilometres?

If you would like to get to know Engelberg from its most laid-back and sunniest side, we recommend a visit to Brunni. Secret tip: The black Schonegg run arguably offers the best views of the entire ski resort. Families love Bannalp with its two family-friendly lifts and good selection of blue and red slopes.

INTERSPORT Rent tip

Our RENTertainers recommend

Authentic, traditional and full of fun: Yes, we’re talking about sledging! Grab your family and off you go to Gerschnialp for some ultimate sledging fun! Hop on your sledge and race down towards Engelberg – every day between 09:00 and 16:00.

The spectacular sledging run covers a total length of 3,500 metres and an altitude difference of 250 metres. Sounds like a major adrenaline rush – and like plenty of fun! If you can’t get enough of sledging, you might also want to try night sledging every Friday and Saturday evening. The perfect end to a fun night of sledging? A delicious, creamy cheese fondue at Titlis valley station!

Good to know: The sledging day pass includes the return ticket to Trübsee, where culinary delights and plenty more winter sports highlights are waiting for you. For instance, how about snowtubing at Trübsee snow park?
