Skiing in Arosa

More about the ski resort

Whether you’re a first-timer, beginner or advanced winter sports athlete: Arosa offers the perfect challenge for everyone. If carving down the perfectly groomed slopes is not enough action for you, you can hone your freestyling skills at one of three snow park areas, where action-packed lines and thrilling obstacles are waiting for you.

Away from the groomed slopes, you can find plenty of powder and marvellous backcountry rides. For instance, Arosa Weisshorn is a secret tip for passionate freeriders and ski tourers. To increase off-piste safety, the resort offers numerous avalanche courses and Freeride Camps. During these courses, participants learn about the correct use of safety equipment and assessing snow conditions.

Highlights, highlights, highlights, ...

Families looking for a more laid-back skiing experience will love the resort’s children’s areas and family slopes. One of the big highlights for young skiers is the "Zappelbär" treasure hunt at Tschuggen. Along the way, little skiers and snowboarders have to help the fidgety bear to find food for his hibernation.

The local Escape Routes offer even more highlights for snow sports enthusiasts of all ages. Along select slopes, you have to solve puzzle games. All you need to embark on this quest is a day ticket and an Adventure Bag containing the Escape Route booklet with useful tips. If you succeed in solving all the tricky puzzles, you can win a number of great instant prizes.
